Traditional Tea Ceremony
Experience Authentic Moroccan Hospitality
An essential part of every YouQuad adventure is experiencing the traditional Moroccan tea ceremony. This centuries-old ritual is more than just a refreshment break—it's a cultural experience that embodies Moroccan hospitality.
During your tour, our guides will prepare the famous Moroccan mint tea, known locally as "atay," using fresh mint leaves, green tea, and sugar. The tea is traditionally poured from a height to create a light foam on top, and is served three times following the Moroccan saying: "The first glass is as gentle as life, the second is as strong as love, the third is as bitter as death."
This peaceful break in the midst of your adventure allows you to connect with Moroccan culture while resting and enjoying the beautiful surroundings before continuing your journey.
